We are a family run business started over 50 years ago with Graham Shine, Edd joined following an apprenticeship in 2000 and Matt joined in 2010. Finally Jon joined in 2018.
We have been fully qualified technician Electricians for over 50 years having served apprenticeship’s with Electrical Installations Limited under the JIB (Joint Industrial Board) five year apprenticeship scheme. We are proud members of the NICEIC (National Inspection for Electrical Installation Contractors). We have also been awarded The City & Guilds Licentiateship (LCGI) which is an award for those with senior level qualifications and is recognition of their professional achievement. This award is awarded to people who can demonstrate specific technical ability and have the personal skills required to operate effectively at a professional level. The UK Register of Electricians has been established to provide a system for all electrical and electronic operatives qualified to Craft Level 11 standards agreed by the European member-states at the Centre for European Vocational Qualifications. I carry an identification card showing my membership. We have have full Public Liability, Employers Liability and Contractors insurance.

FAULT FINDING
We had an unknown issue with our electrics tripping out and the Shine Electrics team were on the scene within hours. The fault was thoroughly tested, subsequently found swiftly and fixed perfectly. Dom was exceptionally knowledgeable and the workmanship to install the outside plug socket was impeccable.
CONSUMER UNIT REPLACEMENT
Fuse board replacement, down-lights upstairs and down, mount nest, front light and garage circuit.
Quite a big job completed by the team today which was all to a very high standard. The work was completed neat and tidy and any mess was cleared up. Would 100% recommend Shine Electrics. From the first call to the work being completed everything was well explained. I will be getting them back in to do some other bits in the near future
VARIOUS ELECTRICAL JOBS
I recently moved into a new property which had a variety of problems which needed fixing. Two of the team from Shine came round to do the work. They were quick and efficient, and answered my many questions and requests with knowledge, friendliness and patience. The work appears to have been done to a high standard and they tidied up well afterwards. It's a family business and they seem like genuinely nice guys. Would very highly recommend.
